Easy Sloppy Joes

Everyone in the family loves when I make sloppy joes the kids ask for this loose meat sandwich often and so darn easy to make.

Homemade is best and economical with ground beef and a few ingredients your buns will be filled for dinner with a delicious meaty treat.

Super flavorful and delicious.

Easy Sloppy Joes

1 pound ground beef
1 small onions
1 teaspoon granulated garlic powder
1- 8 ounce can of tomato sauce
1/4 cup ketchup
salt to taste and a dash of pepper
1/4 cup of barbecue sauce
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 teaspoon yellow mustard
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon white vinegar

In a large skillet brown the beef, and drain the fat.
Add the remaining ingredients and simmer for 20 minutes covered.
Cook until it thickens and most of the juice evaporates take the cover off if you have to get this to cook faster.
Serve in butter-toasted rolls.
Optional: add sliced mushrooms and peppers for another style of loose-meat sandwich.
